Can I give IIT JEE exam more then once? I even took a gap after my first attempt

dear,
according to the new scheme there will be on,y two attempts allowed for one candidate ....in two consecutive years after attempting and clearing the 12th standard board exams......

so if you have missed for last time .....you can definitely apply for next years iit jee exam.....
