Why WordPress SEO Is More Powerful Than Blogspot SEO?

GIVEN BELOW IS THE ARTICLE BY PUSHKAR,WHO RECENTLY USE WORDPRESS INSTEAD OF BLOGSPOT.I AM FULLY SATISFIED WITH HIM BECAUSE I REALISE AFTER LOT OF MOVIES I UPLOADED AND POSTING IN ONE DAY THAN ANY OTHER SITE ,BUT MY TRAFFIC IS NOT INCREASED OR WE CAN SAY MY TRAFFIC IS LIMITED TO SOME COUNTRIES LIKE U.S.A & INDIA (MY FAVOURITE.-MOST SUPPORTIVE COUNTRY) THEN ALSO U.K ,MALAYSIA,INDONESIA etc.I THINK GOOGLE IS VERY STONG THERE,EVEN YAHOO COULD NOT SHOW THE BLOG,NOW I SUBMITTED AND WE DO NOT WANT TO PURCHASE ANY DOMAIN AND HOSTING FOR THIS SITE.GOOGLE HAS NO TAG OPTION ,LIMITED GADGETS ,THEMES ARE NOT WELL UPTO THE MARK,PAGES ARE LIMITED.BUT WE ARE NOT MOVE TOWARDS WORDSPRESS BUT MY NEXT WEBSITES & BLOGS SURELY BE ON WORDPRESS BECOZ OF GOOD SEO AND TRAFFIC.ALSO SOMEDAY BEFORE BLOGGER TECHNICAL TEAMS MAKE SOME CHANGES WHICH MAKES WORST MY POSTING IN TERMS OF CATEGORY,THEY DO NOTHING AND SAID THEY IMPROVING THE STANDARDS ,NOW WE ARE FACING PROBLEMS IN BLOGGER.BLOGGER OF GOOGLE MUST INCREASE THEIR STANDARD LIKE WORDPRESS ,THEIR SEO SHOULD BE WORLDWIDE NOT LIMITED TO GOOGLE AND BING.

."Its an old question but still this question is very important to know about choosing  a platform for your better blogging. Many people may argue that Blogspot is a best blogging platform by google. My point of view about blogspot is that Blogspot good to start and it doesn’t stands well for professional bloggers. I am using self hosted wordpress blog and within 2 months i am getting good hits and comments. When i was using blogspot, hits were less and comments were very low. But what’s the real reason behind this?

1) Tags & Categories in WP :- I love this WP style. Wp provides you two options, one of category and another for tags. All your posts can be organizes under a specific category and you can add many tags there within every single post. Tags will boost your ranking and traffic. More tags in your tag, more pages will be crawl by google, then more keywords in google from your blog and as a results more traffic to your blog. But what about Blogspot?? Blogspot doesn’t have any tags option. They have only LABEL option which can be used a category only. No Tags, less keywords in search engines and as a results, less traffic.

2) Permalinks :- You might have notice that whenever you search for any specific topic in google, google firstly match your keywords with the results title and then domain name URL. WP provide you an option ‘ Permalinks ” where you can change your URL option. Example :

myblog.com/how-to-search-in-google-for-better-result
myblog.com/2010/12/how-to-search-in-google-for-better-result

You can choose any option from the above permalink but the 1st option will give your good results, as it doesn’t contain any useless keywords. But Blogspot doesn’t provide any such option to change your permalink but yeah, if you are good developer then you can change with yourself.

3) WP SEO Plugins :- WP provide lots of plugins which enhance your blog functionality. There are lots of plugins for SEO also. I am using All In One SEO plugin which is quite popular and boost your posts ranking in various search engines.

4) Comments :- I love WP about commenting option. WordPress provide very easy method to comment but blogspot lags behind here also. The comment form comes with pop up which is not a great usability feature by blogspot.

According to my point of view, these all features proved that WordPress SEO is more powerful than Blogspot SEO but it doesn’t mean that Blogspot is not a good option for blogging. Blogspot also have good features and of course its free to use
