Install Unsigned Apps On Your Mobile (Works With Nokia N8)

Apr 11, 2011

Download FreeSigner.v1.01.zip and install it on your nokia phone and go to http://cer.opda.cn/en/index.php and register for a free account.

Now login on your OPDA account and in the right corner of the screen you will see a button called "Upload Cer" click it and it will take you to a new window.

Fill in the fields with the required information. To check your IMEI call *#06# on your nokia phone and you can put anything you like as a remark for example "xxxxx Nokia". After you have filled all the required fields click Submit Application.

After you have applied the certificate it will take around 1 day to get your certificate and key file. You can download the certificate and key file in My Certificates in your OPDA account.

After getting your certificate and key copy them somewhere into your nokia phone along with the unsigned app you are trying to install and open FreeSigner the app which we installed earlier on our phone and go to options > settings > Sing Cert and select the certificate file you copied on your phone and then choose Sign Key the key file you copied on your phone and go back to the main screen.

Click Add Task and select the unsigned app and add it. After adding the app go to options > Go! and in a couple of seconds your unsigned app will be signed. The signed app by default will go to the folder same as the unsigned one or you can choose a custom output folder from settings if you want.

Now you are ready to install the custom signed app on your phone and enjoy!
